In depth

Verdict

Recent winners Olimpo and Gambling Spirit look to be the two to concentrate on here and we will take a chance with the first named, the pick of the remainder could be Pittisburgh. That was a lot to like about Olimpo's victory at Chepstow, he stayed on determinedly to beat previous winner Trouble Mountain with the third well beaten off. That appears to be rock solid form, and with this longer trip likely to suit he looks the best option. Gambling Spirit returned to winning ways at Brighton last time, beating Ten Cents in game fashion. She is pretty lightly raced and open to more improvement. Pittsburgh is an outsider with a bit of a squeak. He reached a mark of 75 last season, is now down to more realistic figure and did run with credit last time. He could get into the frame at a fancy price. However we think Olimpo is the most likely winner.
