This feature event has attracted some top notch performers and Group one winner Fayr Jag is given the nod ahead of One Putra, Baltic King and Assertive. Tim Easterby's seven-year-old landed the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot a couple of years ago and can still hold his own in top class company. He wasn't disgraced behind Steenburg in a Group two event at York on his return to the track and with ground in his favour tonight he should make a bold bid. One Putra has a bit to find on official ratings but is certainly going the right way. There was a lot to like about his recent victory at Haydock and he should be in the shake up this evening. Assertive has taken on some top horses in his career so far. He takes on older horses for the first time today but should make his presence felt. Baltic King beat Patavellian over course and distance last season and should be spot on for this following a couple of recent outings. The Kiddykid is a class act on his day and may do best of the remainder, but in what is a high quality event we will give the vote to Fayr Jag.
