Verdict

RATHVINDEN tackles this trip for the first time but looked a stayer in the making when runner-up to Modem at Ballinrobe and should be good enough. Ballela Boy makes his chasing debut but has won a bumper and scored twice over hurdles though stable companion Blessed King is of more interest having won a maiden hurdle in a canter when last seen a year ago. Black Warrior has shown up well in all three starts over fences over shorter trips and with this likely to suit he looks a big threat while Master Appeal ran easily his best race over fences when stepped up to around three miles at Clonmel and should get into the action. Go It Alone ran well enough over the track and trip last time to get competitive in what should be an informative contest.
