In depth

Verdict

Three-times hurdles winner Dicosimo has been disappointing over fences and was well beaten at Kilbeggan last week. He was also 15l behind Bentelimar over 2m4f here earlier though this shorter trip will be in his favour as he attempted to make all. PEREGRINE RUN (NAP), a Grade 2 winner over hurdles at Cheltenham in October, looks a smart prospect for chasing having jumped well and stayed on strongly to beat Roconga over the course and distance last month. He's 6lb worse off with the runner-up but had a bit in hand and should confirm the form and land this. Fire In Soul hasn't had much experience but is the type to improve and could go well at a fair price.
