Princess Mononoke hadn't been running all that well but was supported in the market before showing improved form at Sedgefield and, though 5lb higher, can make a bold bid while in the same mood. But NORTHANDSOUTH (NAP) won a better class handicap at Lingfield and ran well from a 5lb higher mark at Warwick in similar company so looks the one to be on. Hartside had been racing in better company before finding this grade to his liking at Doncaster. He's a prolific winner but yesterday's rain may have scuppered his chances. Skywards Reward had shown very little before his latest run here last month so it was a surprise when he attracted strong support, though he finished a long way last.
