She has a penalty to carry but her trainer excels with similar types and she should make a hurdler. Countess Cathleen ran very well in a big field on testing ground at Punchestown last month and can improve again, though just in front of her that day was TELL ME ANNIE. A dual point-to-point winner, she was making her debut under Rules that day and with conditions again in her favour should have made enough progress to take this. Trumps Ace had shown potential in bumpers before a promising effort in what looked quite a strong maiden here last month and looks certain to get into contention.
