Verdict

Chicklemix finally gained reward for her relative consistency when winning a novices' handicap at Fakenham last month. Gina Andrews' claim negates much of the mare's penalty but she may still struggle to get the better of MILANO SUPREMO here. Chris Grant's six-year-old, who had a decent record in bumpers last year, stepped up markedly on his first run over timber when second over 2m6f here last month and should appreciate the slight drop in distance. Old Style and Sharadiyn looks the pick of the remainder but neither can exactly be described as progressive.
