In depth

Verdict

Oscar Hill struggled on fast ground at Kilbeggan and should be more at home on today's surface but Table Forty Six appeared to enjoy the quick ground when producing an improved performance behind Golan Guy at Down Royal when Native Palm was behind. Prince Chaparral has won three times on the Flat but probably enjoys faster conditions than he'll get here so the vote goes to HIRED HAND, who has been running well on the Flat recently and showed there were races to be won with him over hurdles when a close fourth behind Monastrell at Down Royal in November.
