In depth

Verdict

Most of the hurdling newcomers are moderate on the Flat so this should go to one of the experienced types. PLATO'S KODE completed a double in August before running on the Flat then just failing to concede 5lb to Thounder at Huntingdon. That may be good enough as Something Brewing has run poorly on the level since scrambling home from today's rival Satis House at Hexham and there's nothing between the pair again. Amadeus Rox ran in a much better race at Market Rasen after a narrow defeat on his hurdling bow at Newton Abbot so looks the main threat.
