Espoir D'allen is an interesting entry having won on the Flat in France and been purchased by J P McManus but Sao Paolo, who started off at Ballydoyle, didn't show much in two starts for Charles Byrne. MASTERSTONEMASON had been steadily progressing before scoring at Gowran. He'd been beaten 6l by Pronounced at Ballinrobe earlier but reversed the form on much more testing ground at Listowel though the winner didn't handle heavy going, nor did Minnie Dahill, who started favourite after scoring at Down Royal. The latter pair so wouldn't want more rain while Little Princess has finished behind most of these at some stage.
