In depth

Verdict

Quel Elite hasn't been seen since a fine effort when stepping up to 2m5f at Perth in May but would be an obvious threat on that form if fit enough. Crafti Bookie won a novices' event over 2m4f here and didn't seem right when tailed off at Ascot. He has a penalty to carry as does FLEMI TWO SHOES but it's the latter who gets the vote as he looked a nice recruit to hurdling when slamming a moderate field at Plumpton. Winning point-to-pointer Gorey Lane showed some promise in a bumper and again when staying on over slightly shorter at Hexham so a stamina test would bring out the best in him.
