Sole Survivor got off the mark at the first time of asking over hurdles, edging out Roll The Dice at Warwick last month. But he'll have his work cut out here trying to beat KNIGHT PASS off level weights. Warren Greatex' five-year-old was a smart performer in bumpers last season and had no trouble justifying favouritism on his hurdling debut at Exeter. There should be more to come and he can get the better of Newton Abbot bumper winner Black Thunder and Tetlami, who returns from a lengthy absence. Tante Sissi is worth watching, however, as she is a half-sister to a winning hurdler in France and was a good second in a Listed bumper here in March.
