Plenty with chances in a competitive-looking novices’ handicap. Twotwothree has taken a giant leap forward since returning to action but has been hit with a further 12lb hike. Darling Alko quickly went clear at Ludlow but probably didn’t beat much, though a 7lb rise looks fair. Idee De Garde was lightly raced over hurdles and could be a different proposition over fences. Shanroe Tic won three times over the smaller obstacles but didn’t show a great deal in points before that. Tom George’s string isn’t in the best of form but the yard’s luck could change here if the four-year-old PETIT PALAIS takes to fences as he is potentially thrown in on his hurdles form.
