Verdict

ERITAGE, a dual bumper winner, came here a fortnight ago for a similar race and made all, jumping well and coming home in a canter. He's up against some promising types here but will take all the beating. Masters Legacy made a very pleasing racecourse debut behind another Paul Nicholls runner Wild Max over the course and distance a month ago so has to be rated a threat while Kauto The King, beaten a neck here in March, found 2m5f too far on his reappearance at Wincanton. Flou Artsistique is a very interesting entry for J P McManus/David Pipe as he's a half-brother to six winners and was only beaten 2 lengths on his debut in France in April while winning point-to-pointer Equus Gold is one to note on his hurdling debut. Alan King's horses are in good form and Escapability is the type to make progress.
