Verdict

A repeat of her run at The Curragh would see Hilites home here, and she gets the nomination in this run-of-the-mill contest. Fourth in Ireland behind Carrizo Creek in a valuable sales race, the way she finished there - admittedly on yielding going - suggested that seven furlongs should be ok for her. Her biggest dangers are Dark Empress, Stanhope Forbes and Doctored. Doctored, trained by Carrizo Creek's trainer, Brian Meehan, was beaten in an all-weather seller first time up, but seemed to improve on that when second to a Loder hotpot - also on the all-weather - next time. Dark Empress should go well as her debut second to Cape Trafalgar at Goodwood on her only outing to date stands up to scrutiny in the context of this race. Stanhope Forbes has faced a couple of fair types in two runs so far, displaying promise on each occasion. He too should bag some money but the selection is Hilites.
