In depth

Verdict

Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Seymour Weld, Solway Sunset,My Pal Val and Kilrossanty and the narrow vote is given to Solway Sunset. The selection won with plenty in hand last time out when beating Ruby Dante and although higher in the weights here he still looks ahead of the handicaper and he is taken to win again. Seymour Weld rates the main danger as he also won well last time when beating Barneys Lyric but that was a seller and he will need to improve again to win off this higher mark. My Pal Val is another worthy of respect on her best form but the suspicion is she may just need the run after a 740 day break. Kilrossanty won well last time out when beating Dicey Dancer but this looks tougher. Of the remainder Dr Cerullo is from a shrewd yard and should be noteed in the market but he looks vulnerable under topweight and for the winner we return to the progressive Solway Sunset.
