In depth

Verdict

Despite conceding weight all round, SIR NOTE sets the standard although a 9lb rise for winning here last month seems a harsh reaction. Paul Moloney retains the ride and the pair can defy the handicapper as he currently does seem on the upgrade. Sleeping City is a danger if forgiven his latest run here but Auto Mac looks a likelier sort after inching out Rose Red here earlier in the month. However, he was well behind the selection the time before and may struggle to reverse placings on the revised terms. Umoristic and Osorios Trial are also of interest at their best.
