Verdict

Eastlake kept on well to win on his racecourse debut at Worcester in October. He hasn't raced since, however, and any ring-rustiness here is likely to be exposed by GRAND VISION who receives 7lb and kept on well under a considerate ride when second at Ffos Las for Don Cantillon and has since joined Colin Tizzard. Denali Highway and Venetia Williams' filly La Belle Sauvage, who is a half-sister to a couple of winning hurdlers, look the best of the newcomers on breeding and could also play a part.
