In depth

Verdict

WILLIAM H BONNEY looks a decent novice and was far from disgraced trying to give weight to the equally-promising Premier Bond at Newbury after landing the odds at Plumpton. He's likely to be a short price for this but is hard to oppose. Chic Theatre won a bumper a year ago but made little impression on his hurdles bow at Leicester and may need more time. A similar comment applies to Tipperairy while winning pointers Good Man Hughie and Gray Wolf River may do better when going chasing.
