In depth

Verdict

It's about time GO WEST YOUNG MAN was getting his head in front. He's already had 15 career starts but has been placed nine times, often in better races than this. Providing he keeps his mind on the job, he should have too much for December's course and distance winner Que Sera receiving 6lb. Georgian Firebird was probably just about in front when unseating his rider two out at Uttoxeter last time but isn't certain to be suited by this stiffer track. Closer To Home looks a better long-term prospect and should be approaching peak fitness but Me Voila disappointed when pulled up at Ludlow.
