In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins won this last year and Billaway, an easy winner between the flags before failing to cope with Judkin in a Cork bumper, is certain to attract support. Mark O'Hare has struck up a winning partnership with Noel Meade since Nina Carberry retired and the four-year-old Famous Saying is one for the short-list after just one run. Minella Beat started long odds-on for his debut at Lismore but only had two to beat and one of them fell when challenging at the last. Mick Winters has had a recent winner of this and PAPAL PRESENT may be good enough to repeat the process after justifying strong support at Dromahane.
