        Verdict

        Hearthstead Dancer, Sin City and Bacharach are the three to consider here and preference is for the Mark Johnston newcomer, Hearthstead Dancer. Luca Cumani sends Sin City on the journey from Newmarket and this powerful yard is worthy of respect. However, after a reasonable debut run at Redcar, Sin City was well beaten at Beverley next time, finishing second last despite being well supported. Bacharach has had two runs but comes here a bit of an unknown quantity. He had a promising debut at Hamilton before finishing fifth at Ayr behind the likes of Yasood and Silent Times. The fourth home Nihal has gone on to score twice since but it¿s possible Nihal had an off day on that occasion. A chance is therefore taken with Nihal¿s stable companion Hearthstead Dancer. Mark Johnston should know where he stands with Bacharach and this daughter of Royal Academy will not have to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut. Hearthstead Dancer gets the nod.
