Verdict

Kings Heir, Expensive and Spiritual Peace are the three to ponder over here and Spiritual Peace, who ran a terrific race on his debut at Haydock, is taken to step up on that effort here. Mark Johnston¿s Kings Heir was well backed at Carlisle two outings ago and ran well but just failed finishing second and on the strength of that run he went off a short priced favourite at Pontefract last time but could finish only third. He will be thereabouts but may find the selection too good. Expensive is living up to her name as far as the punters are concerned as she has twice been backed down to favouritism but is yet to win. She was beaten only narrowly at Haydock and is yet to run a bad race but once again may have to settle for a place. Kevin Ryan¿s Spiritual Peace is beautifully bred, by Cadeaux Genereux out of a Green Desert mare and she ran a blinder on her debut at Haydock in what looked like a hot race. She was strongly backed from 18-1 in to 8-1 and finished third. The fifth has come out and won since and the race looked good at the time. Spiritual Peace can win this.
