Verdict

A small field goes to post for this maiden and on paper it looks a match between Look Here's Carol and My Mellors and the confident vote goes to Look Here's Carol. The filly was not beaten far when eighth in a group three last time and a reproduction of that effort would make her hard to beat. My Mellors rates the main danger but has had plenty of chances and is readily opposed. Of the remainder Chesnut Cracker is a nice sort but may do better in handicaps. The rest need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge so we are happy to stick with Look Here's Carol.
