In depth

Verdict

A large field goes to post for the first on the card but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the main protagonists appear to be Anthos, Summer Magic and Delusion and we will take a chance on Anthos. The filly from the James Fanshaw yard ran well on her debut when second at Windsor behind Glebe Garden and given normal improvement she will be hard to beat. Summer Magic rates the main danger she is from a yard that is doing particularly well with its two year olds and she to is sure to improve for her debut fourth behind Salisbury Plain. Delusion has also shown plenty of ability but gave the impression that she would be better over further when second behind Russian Ruby so for that reason she is opposed on this occasion. The remainder that have run have shown very little and those that have not do not stand out on breeding so we are happy to side with Anthos.
