        Verdict

        Joyful Day has only run on the all-weather with his best run to date coming at Southwell. Qortaaj attracted some support at Doncaster in November and showed up well in testing conditions so there's no reason he can't handle better ground. FLEETING DREAM didn't run too well at Windsor in October but the 400,000gns daughter of Dream Ahead and the speedy Flanders will surely be leaving that form behind soon. She's a half-sister to 10 winners and is taken to keep up the family tradition. Malakky was returning from a long break when third in what looked a decent maiden at Salisbury last month and looks the main threat.
