Verdict

Boom Box would have been placed but for being impeded and unseating his rider after the last at Ballinrobe but BORDERLINEDECISION made an encouraging debut at Kilbeggan and went there last month for a maiden where he started favourite. He was attempting to concede the eventual winner a stone so it was a fine performance and he should go one better. Miro looked in need of a stamina test when third over 2m4f at Punchestown but St Lawrence Gap is progressing with every run and though his jumping wasn't quite up to scratch at Tramore he only succumbed to Hanover Street in the closing stages. Aretsone is one to keep an eye on in the market as there should be more to come.
