Verdict

Martin Pipe should hold the answer with his pair, Fast Mix and Time To Roam, and it is the latter that is preferred, with Arimero best of the opposition. Time To Roam is on a retrieval mission, having fallen two out when in with every chance here last time. He was strongly fancied on the strength of an impressive debut win for the stable at Haydock just five days earlier, and the way that he was travelling when coming down suggests that he would have prevailed. He was quite useful in Ireland, and indeed scored on his final start at Downpatrick before joining Martin Pipe. He can take this before the handicapper clobbers him completely. Stablemate Fast Mix did well to win at Chepstow after Jamie Moore dropped his whip between the final two flights, but was turned over when odds-on for a seller at Leicester next time. He is not one to rely on then and it should pay to stick with Time To Roam. Arimero has shown little on two British starts but has taken on good company. He can play a part as well, but on the evidence so far, Time To Roam should be hard to beat.
