Another poor race here where a trip to the bar is advised, but if you must have a bet then Mitrash is the tentative suggestion. Trainer Donald McCain maintains his string in good form and although this eight-year-old is not in red hot form he does want some cut in the ground and this sort of trip, and his handler has got a 38 per cent strike rate here over the past five seasons, so perhaps he can enhance that here. Omega King looks to be next best and he was 14 lengths clear of today's opponent Colinette when both ran down the field at Taunton last time. He is 1lb better off here too, so he should confirm that form. Dancing Partner showed something like a return to form last time and if improving here can take a hand, while with first-time cheek pieces Fleur Babe may show a bit more sparkle. Not one to risk the hard-earned on, but if you must, try Mitrash.
