      Verdict

      A small field goes to post for this novices chase and the main protagonists appear to be Ballycassidy and Pietro Bembo and the confident vote goes to Ballycassidy. The gelding from Peter Bowen yard was an impressive winner of his only race to date when defeating Colquhon and although he is giving weight to all of his rivals he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Pietro Bembo looks the only conceivable danger. He was a fair second behind Pharpost last time out. However he is very one paced and Ballycassidy may do him for toe close home. Of the remainder Fountain Street could run well at a big price but he will need to improve significantly to defeat the selection Ballycassidy.
