Burwood Breeze is taken to land the day's feature event event at the expense of Bow Strada and Misty Future. Burwood Breeze was a beaten favourite at Perth when failing to give weight to Double You Cubed, eventually having to settle for the runner's up spot in that race for the second year running. His win ratio is not good, but he is always there or thereabouts, and as he gets weight from his two main rivals this time, we take Tom George's eight-year-old to come good. Bow Strada is put back over fences after a spell over the smaller obstacles, and admittedly has taken on better opposition. However, there has to be a doubt over his ability over this sort of trip and he will do well to defy topweight. Misty Future has plenty of scope but has a 189-day absence to overcome and so can be opposed as well, and unless Gielgud improves, he too has a job on. For the winner we return to Burwood Breeze.
