If ever there was a one-horse race then this is it, with Elenas River impossible to oppose. For the forecast we nominate Benova Boy. Philip Hobbs has found a soft opportunity for Elenas River who lines up in search of a hat-trick over fences after wins at Ascot and Wincanton. In truth he has been frustrating since being sent over the bigger obstacles two years ago, but as long as he is not too highly tried, can mop up a few more events on the summer ground. The eight-year-old has nothing to fear from any of his rivals and it is a case of who will finish second. Despite not having had a run since August last year, former hunter chaser Benova Boy may be the one as he has been placed a few times already over fences, albeit in class E company. The rest have nothing to offer, and in a race that makes no appeal as betting medium, Elenas River is the obvious selection.
