Verdict

Few make any appeal on recent form but CAPTAIN JACK returned from a lengthy absence with a second over track and trip on his first outing for new connections. Unexposed for his age with just a dozen runs under his belt, he may prove the one to side with. Island Nation has failed to threaten so far but may do better now handicapping but Ashton Court ran 23 times in Ireland without winning and debuts for new connections. Silkstone slips further down the weights while Bran has undergone wind surgery having posted a better effort last time.
