In depth

Verdict

Weet By Far deserves to get her head in front having been thereabouts in recent starts and has to be respected first time on the Fibresand but Reg Hollinshead's filly is proving to be hard to win with and it may be worth chancing the less exposed Didana, who gets the vote with Admiral Troy rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has only had two starts so far and stepped up on her promising debut effort on the turf at Leicester when a creditable fourth at Wolverhampton. The Fibresand surface should suit Mick Quinlan's filly, who gets the vote. Chalford finished last of the eight runners on his only previous outing, while Jane's Payoff makes only limited appeal on pedigree on her debut. Mark Usher's Admiral Troy would not need to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut but Didana looks worth chancing and gets the vote.
