In depth

Verdict

Holly Golightley showed improved form when making her nursery debut at Wolverhampton earlier this month and, having been dropped 1lb since then, Kevin Ryan's filly looks worth support today and gets the vote ahead of Maid In Bloom and Shakespeare's Son. The last mentioned has shown signs of ability from limited opportunities and may do better now returned to the minimum trip. Where's Killoran has not even be placed in four starts so far so is hard to recommend, while Liani has been running in sellers and claimers and may struggle even in this lowly nursery company. Maid In Bloom has shown ability and, considering the weakness of the opposition, has to be of interest on his debut in a nursery but preference is for Holly Golightley.
