In depth

Verdict

Inaminute has the overall form to oblige, with Xpres Boy and Scherzo A La Russe seen as the main dangers. Inaminute has been going the right way of late, finishing a very close second on his first outing on the Fibresand three weeks ago. The drop down to selling company and step up in trip were both a big help that day, and although this contest is a wee bit harder, another furlong will help the son of Spectrum who has plenty of stamina on the dam's side. Xpres Boy put in a decent effort just six days ago at Wolverhampton, but his ability to handle this surface is unproven, while Scherzo A La Russe is a half-sister to a prolific sprint winner in America, and although boasting plenty of experience, is another to be wary of. In a race that makes little appeal, Inaminute is the pick.
