    Verdict

Distant Country is on his third trainer since landing a claimer for Lynda Ramsden in March and, like Far Note, may struggle to concede weight away all round so preference is for White Bear. The selection has run to a similar level of form in two starts on sand in maidens this winter and should appreciate the drop to the bottom grade. Owed should be able to reverse running earlier this month with Far Note on the revised terms and has to be considered along with Musical Gift, who has been running well over further and hails from the in-form Paul Blockley stable. Kevin Ryan's runners in this grade are always worthy of respected so Coleorton Dane cannot be dismissed lightly along with Karl Burke's Hows That. Queue Up and Smith N Allan Oils both appear to have gone downhill in their careers of late and a safer bet looks to be White Bear, who is taken to make the most of the drop into selling company.
