In depth

Verdict

With none of the newcomers making much appeal, this is probably best left to Chariot, who gets the vote over Hold The Line and Angelo's Pride. The last mentioned is capable but inconsistent, while Hold The Line may not appreciate the drop back in trip to a mile having run over 1m2f on his last two starts. Mr Dip and Jacob represent horses from stables very much in form at present but need to step up on previous efforts to trouble Chariot, who gets the nod. Martin Bosley's colt showed steady improvement last term, winding up with a decent third over course and distance in December. An absence since is of little concern and Chariot gets the vote.
