Verdict

Jim Bolger has his string in good shape so the chances of Ceist Nua, who doesn't look badly treated after a fair run in a Down Royal nursery last time, are respected. He had Big Bad Tyson, who subsequently ran well at Fairyhouse, and Going Gaga, who wears blinkers for the first time, well behind on that occasion and should confirm the form though BEAU BUNNY, who wasn't beaten far and should be suited by the slightly shorter trip as she led at the furlong pole, may just be progressive enough to snatch the spoils. Eternal Youth has shown ability on very fast ground and may improve on today's surface while Annamay showed promise when encountering soft ground for the first time at Listowel and makes her nursery debut from a decent mark.
