    Verdict

CENSUS can improve on a promising debut run at Ffos Las. His sire Cacique had his first success as a stallion at the weekend and this colt looks sure to go close in providing him with another. Argocat is another who has shaped with promise in one start and he is respected, along with Blue Dazzler who is bred to appreciate the step up in trip today. Chain Lightning, trying a mile for the first time, looks a major player given his official rating of 83, whilst of the rest it is Discoteca, Violet Ray and the newcomer Kadoodd who make most appeal.
