Verdict

John Murphy has won this for the past two years and is triple-handed today. Diamond Pro looks the best of the trio after his fine run when stepped up to 1m2f at Fairyhouse and he has the potential to go on to better things. Light Of Equuleus had shown nothing before a much improved run when stepped up to 1m6f at Ballinrobe and further improvement would see her in the mix though it's about time DAYRINA was winning and this looks her day. Jim Bolger's filly isn't the most consistent of performers but has been narrowly beaten in two of her last four starts and she loves the testing ground. She had Positive Vibes behind at Galway last week and should take care of Arthur Moore's charge again but Zambezi Tiger, who split the pair, stayed on very strongly at the finish and could prove a bigger threat.
