Verdict

HAY POINT had looked a progressive filly when beating Warwick Avenue and finishing runner-up to Chicago, both at Fairyhouse, but disappointed at Galway last week. That undulating track doesn't suit every horse so hopefully she can bounce back here. Livia Galilei scored over this trip at the Curragh and her two subsequent runs have been over shorter. She should go well though she's held by Jazz Girl on last month's run at Killarney. The latter was well beaten behind Chicago last time and there's little between her and Strandfield Lady on their 1-2 at Navan in May. Progressive jumper Dare To Doubt probably needs further though she arrives in very good form.
