Verdict

A large field goes to post for this seller and there is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Frankincense, Polished, Top Style and Talarive and the confident vote is given to Polished. The selection hails from the in-form Richard Guest yard is very well handicapped on his best form and with the blinkers re-fitted here he will be very hard to beat. Frankincense rates the main danger on his latest second behind Dennis The Mennis in this grade as he looks sure to be suited by this extra furlong and has definite place claims. Top Style won well on his first run after a long break and if he returned to that form he would be a danger to all but he has been very disappointing on his last two runs so can not be put forward with any confidence. Talarive was behind Frankincense on his last run and even though he is better off at the weights with that rival here he still has plenty to find. Of the remainder Amber Go Go is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Polished.
