A typically-competitive sprint handicap on this course but northern raider Melonade is two from two and only a three-year-old and won’t go down without a fight. Jashma keeps finding one too good and is still 8lb higher than for his only win while Lydia's Place would have been more interesting had she not been drawn wide. Monumental Man still looks a few pounds too high but Merdon Castle is starting to look well treated. ZIPEDEEDODAH was headed right on the line by David’s Beauty at Chepstow last week.
