Verdict

Willie Mullins' handling of LEGAL LYRIC has seen the Lawman filly respond with a series of progressive efforts, culminating in two ready victories at Limerick last month. This trip rates her optimum distance, although the assessor has not been kind in hoisting her 18lb for those successes. However, she's a filly in fine form and may just defy the ratings once more. One True Love has her seventh race since the start of June but refuted claims that she's a professional loser when accounting for the strongly-supported Harpist at Gowran Park to record a first career success. She may have her quirks but is also admirably consistent and should be in the mix again. Brown Butterfly continues to perform with great credit, often in large-field handicaps. She concedes weight all round but looks sure to run her race and the 10lb claim of her apprentice pilot makes matters even more interesting.
