In depth

Verdict

Darasim is a tough performer in his own right but was fitted with blinkers when getting the better of Martin Pipe¿s Ravenswood at Doncaster last September. The absence of the headgear along with a 3lb weight concession hands the advantage to his stablemate Akbar, who should have little trouble confirming his superiority with Kevin Darley booked to take the ride. The connections of Torcello should have more of an idea how his four-year-old career is going to pan out and his proximity to Akbar will provide a reliable starting point. Tiyoun is likely to struggle, whilst Aquiline faces an impossible task against these seasoned campaigners.
