In depth

Verdict

Carol Williams is reunited with Flambe over a more suitable trip than the last time she was in the saddle on the four-year-old. And the pairing can be a confident selection to give you a good run for your money. Six Pack also comes into the reckoning after scoring at Thirsk last time out, but hung badly in the closing stages and only prevailed for the strong handling of his rider on that occasion. Beau Sauvage has the plum draw and could give a better account of himself if he can hit the front, but is likely to be taken on for the lead again and will need to settle better than his last outing if he is to get home. Mutared goes well for Emma Downer but may struggle in conceding 4lb to Flambe.
