        Bossipop and Bowman finished second and fourth respectively at Pontefract on Thursday. REGIONAL made a very impressive reappearance and handicap debut at Haydock when making all. He’s gone up 4lb but Golden Apollo and Manigordo never threatened in that contest and the former also struggled to go the pace in last week’s Ayr Silver Cup, though found only Justanotherbottle too good in the Great St Wilfrid here earlier and is 7lb better off. Intrinsic Bond looks held on the form book and Thegreatestshowman is an infrequent winner nowadays.
