      Verdict

      MAHAGONI has placed on several occasions since winning during the summer, including a neck defeat over track and trip. An apprentice’s allowance helps his cause in this and he should have the measure of both Point Lynas and Bolton Abbey on these terms. The latter is only a maiden winner at Brighton but Vintage Fashion finished a bit closer at Yarmouth last time and Art Expert will likely improve having made his debut on soft ground earlier in the month.
