My Paris looks the one to be with in this handicap; Jewelled Dagger and Laa Rayb are the others for the shortlist. The selection ran well when fourth behind Extraterrestrial at Thirsk last time and he is entitled to improve for that effort as it was his seasonal bow. He has ground conditions to suit here and he gets the confident pick. Jewelled Dagger is clearly capable of winning off his current mark as he ran a blinder here last time when he chased home Ballinteni. This slight drop in trip should not be a problem and he can give our selection plenty to think about. Laa Rayb tackles this trip for the first time and if he gets home he can get involved at the finish, but he is probably best watched until he proves himself over the distance. Another Bottle is a course and distance winner and his yard are in good form so he can go well at a price. However, this looks a good opportunity for My Paris who is taken to score.
